This year's conference will be held in beautiful Bellaire, Michigan, at Shanty Creek resorts
The Michigan Labor Press Executive Board invites you to attend their 2012 Spring Conference.
The goal of the Michigan Labor Press is to educate our sisters and brothers to publish and produce professional union newspapers and newsletters. This conference is designed to help new and seasoned publishers to sharpen their communication skills.
Planned classes and workshops include: Social Networking Uploading Video Writing and Editing Photo Composition Photo Editing, Web Site Development, Photoshop (to participate please bring your own laptop) an in-depth Publications Critique (remember to bring copies of your publications) Tech Rescue Recovery, and a Slideshow Preparation Workshop for the Annual Michigan Labor Press Awards Banquet, as well as other additional training classes.
Remember the conference dates and mark them on your calendar for this year. The conference call letter will be mailed out in February with the full details of the conference class schedules.
