2010 Michigan Labor Press Conference
Conference Overview
The Michigan Labor Press Annual Training Conference is open to all local union officers, AFL-CIO Central Labor
Councils, UAW-CAP Councils, members who contribute or write for local union/joint newspapers and all labor communicators.
This conference features dynamic workshops, featuring labor communication specialists, designed to sharpen the
communication skills of union activists.
Newspapers are an important tool to communicate labor's message to union members. Our newspapers deliver a message
and our members want that message. Studies have shown that members want one on one communication.
